Clean vets, reception staff and vet seem friendly enough but the prices are extortionate. £68 for a consultation is very very expensive, then to test a urine sample from my cat it was £45 on top of that.. I had already done a urine test at home for my cat which deemed the same results and it was £7.99 from an online pet shop. Wasn't advised of the cost of the consultation until I was in the vet and my cat was on the table. Used to pay £35 per consultation at my old vets in Wolverhampton so nearly double the price was a shock to me!

I can't recommend Hillmans Vets in Lichfield enough. Every time I call, the staff answer the phone professionally yet in a warm and friendly manner. I never feel like a nuisance when I call with questions or concerns about our little fur baby. They genuinely listen to what I have to say and are always responsive and helpful, whether it's scheduling an appointment or offering advice about Toby’s health. When we visit the clinic, we are always greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The team makes a real fuss of Toby and ensures that I’m comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit. It’s clear that the whole team cares deeply about the pets and their owners, and their dedication truly shines through. We greatly appreciate the care and kindness we receive each time we visit. Hillmans Vets is a wonderful practice, and I’m grateful for the consistent top-quality care and friendly service. Thank you to everyone there for making every visit a positive experience!

The staff at Hillman vets Lichfield have been incredibly loving to my frenchie willow who was in for boas surgery today. She is a very nervous and anxious frenchie but max and Rachel the reception team were great from the time we walked through the door the nurses Helena and Natalie had there worked cut out with willow as she wiggles everywhere but soon had her under control Alberto the vet very reassuring about the surgery discussed everything in detail and performed the surgery even took the time to get on the floor with her to calm her down at her pre op. What a team!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else as they understand how to deal with a very nervous frenchie and also put the owners at ease. Thanks to a great team and looking after my fur baby! We moved around often for work so change vets often, which means my dog is always a bit uneasy when entering a new vets. This practise is honestly the best we have used so far (and my dog is 12), the reception team are polite and friendly and the vet himself is honestly a joy to see around animals - immediately puts my dog at ease and gives him attention/fuss before doing any checks or treatment. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for their new practise for their furry friend!

Everytime we have used Hillman vets they've been brilliant. But two weeks ago our 11 month old fur baby had gone missing for 24 hours and when we finally found him he had been hit by a car we fetched him straight round and they was brilliant with us from start to finish, from the moment we got there until tonight, for the whole two weeks if his journey of having to have his leg amputated I couldn't of wanted to go through that with any other vet, they phoned us throughout the surgery to keep us updated with what else they had found. I really can't thank these vets enough. Definitely a 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
