When Riversmeet was owned by the vets (Simon and his colleagues) it was a lovely little practice, which you felt had both yours and your loved pets best interests at heart. That changed when Linnaeus (a Mars company) took over. They moved it from being a personal touch to being all about driving profits - unnecessary extra (paid for) visits for ‘checkups’, patronising attitudes from new vets, increases in costs - all led to us moving vets after 15 years of happy patronage.

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better vets. I have a 7 month old springer spaniel called Molly who is always a dithering wreck by the time we get to the vets (petrified of the car) and the whole staff team make such a fuss of her and treats galore. I’ve met 3 of there vets now and they’ve all been so patient and genuine and answered all my questions with love and kindness. There passion for animals shows and I’m so pleased I chose rivermeets for Mollys care ❤️

My husband and I can't recommend Riversmeet enough. Vet Simona Oprea especially has been brilliant with our dog 4 year old blue merle border collie, Woody. He is a complex & rare case with Systemic Lupus (causing liver issues), immune-mediated thrombocytopenia and steroid induced cushing's (causing hair loss and muscle wastage). She has tried everything and been a great support in his recovery. He is improving everyday with his treatment and we couldn't be more grateful.

Nice place, reasonably priced, never have to wait too long. Receptionists are lovely and Veterinarians are great 😁
