To say that Callum and the team at Movement Referrals (Uttoxeter) saved Missy-Bo's life is no exaggeration. Missy-Bo had atlanto-axial fixation surgery (C1 and C2 vertebrae fused together). Because of her tiny size she needed 3d guides and custom made screws and pins. The whole team looked after Missy-Bo as if she were their own. The care and compassion shown to both myself and Missy-Bo from the moment we walked through the doors helped me to navigate a very stressful, emotional 2 weeks ending with her risky surgery. I can't heap enough praise on Vet Callum. He really is amazing.❤️ If your furry family member is in need of their care, I feel your pain, but they couldn't be in better hands. My Chihuahua has received the most skilful and caring treatment from the whole team at Movements Referrals Uttoxeter. It began with an MRI which was done at the facility, sadly this diagnosed the need for IVDD surgery . I found it very very difficult to commit to such a big surgery.for Lulu. She is 13 years old has two discs that were calcified and weighs 2.4kg. Callum Golding the surgeon vet was very patient and non judgmental throughout. He guided my Husband and I with information and honesty so that we could come to the right decision for LuLu and the whole Family . Lulu went ahead with complex surgery with Callum Golding a Surgeon and Mark Lowrie, Specialist. We are now two weeks post op, we have had ongoing easy to access to advice should it be needed. Lulu is taking really positive steps to recovery. The fact is there is nothing whatsoever I can be negative about regarding Movements Referrals. I’m very grateful my Vet referred us. You will be in the very best of hands with these Guys . It is a state of the arts facility run by a renowned Specialist and a talented surgeon Vet who will give you total support . The Nurses are just lovely too !

We cannot thank Mark Lowrie and his team enough for taking our dog Mabel when she had a stroke. They were quick to see her, explained everything clearly, and after such a worrying time we felt so relieved and assured we were leaving Mabel in their capable hands. They were fantastic at looking after her, and for her aftercare. They made an awful experience so much better as we could completely trust they would do everything they could in Mabel’s best interest and with compassion. Thank you so much! We are pleased to say Mabel is on the road to recovery thanks to the team.

I cannot thank the team enough for their care, compassion and kindness. My boy is only 6 months old and has had to have surgery on both shoulders. It was initially a very scary thought however the knowledge of staff from day one reassured me my baby was in the best hands. Thank you to the whole team for all your hard work, especially David the ortho surgeon who only had to take one look at him before he knew what it was and later confirmed it with a CT. He took the time to talk me through it all and even show me visually with his questionable drawings so I could see for myself what was happening😅 but all jokes aside, thank you all so so much!

We were referred to Movement Referrals by our vet for a suspected spinal problem with our sausage dog rhubarb. I am so glad that we were! The kindness and compassion from all of the team was exemplary, this practice really has set the standard very high. Mark the vet was brilliant at reassuring us when we first arrived and explaining options. The nurses and the reception staff were so caring and understanding. Since her surgery, the team have provided follow-up advice and reassurance too. I truly cannot thank the team here enough, what is a very stressful time is eased by their expertise and kindness.
