Arrived at the vets at lunchtime (technically closed) to walk in and say we have no appointment, but could you have a look at our dog (had trapped its foot in the door). A vet was there and said, I will have a look for you, I have a slot ....... The dog had an anti-inflammatory jab, was deemed fine ..... then got charged over £100 for an emergency call out ???, plus the cost of the jab (obviously). This is our regular vet, we have various pets, so have always attended this practice, but sadly, it's lost its homely caring touch due to corporatisation !! Today, Glenthorne Uttoxeter lost a regular, important customer .... good on you !

Booking appointments is easy and never a hassle. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but you truly get what you pay for – the care and professionalism are worth it. They were able to fit me in last minute on a Saturday because I was quite worried my kitten was ill. Everywhere else I had checked was going to charge well over £100 just to examine my kitten. Glenthorne only charged me an initial £50 and they listened to all my concerns and made me feel at ease. The medicines were given and explained clearly, as well as their costs. I was extremely happy with the service. Will definitely be using again. Their prices seem very competitive and so reasonable. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you.

Glenthorne Vets are great.! They always help me with my 2 lively labradors, Cherry & Willow (who are a handful) and are always made to feel very welcome. Being part of their Care Plan saves me a lot of money, especially with having 2 dogs. Willow has just been spayed ( Cherry was last year), and the care and attention they were given is second to none.
