Avoid this place at all costs. Took my dog in with an ear infection, they charged £180 for the treatment which is fair enough I don’t mind that. They told me to pop back in in 7 days just to make sure the treatment has worked. 7 days later I go back, they check his ear and say ‘yeah it looks fine’. Next thing I know I’ve got a bill for £90 in the post. No one mentioned anything about a second charge. Also they are threatening me with a CCJ if I don’t pay it so now I am left with no option but to pay it even though I wish to challenge this. Fortunately for me I can afford this but there’s plenty of people who wouldn’t. Bottom line is the sneakily charge hidden fees which is wrong. Use a different vet.

Hillmans vets in Chadsmoor have been looking after our 2 dogs for some years now and I have to say they are very professional, attentive, value for money and extremely helpful. They explain everything that they are going to do before even starting, our youngest dog has developed pancreatitis and the treatment and care they have shown not only to our beloved pet but also to ourselves is second to none. I would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend these vets to anyone. The main practice we use is in Chadsmoor but we have been seen by both the Brownhills and Walsall clinics with the same degree of excellence and care. Keep up the good work girls. UPDATE ON HILLMAN VETS. We have lost one of our dogs since the original review and if it wasn't for the Hillman vet group I don't think our poor little girl would have had those last few days with us. Thank you to everyone at Cannock and Walsall clinics. We have now got another 2 dogs that we have had for 2yrs since they were both 8 weeks old (different litters at different times). Hillman Vets have cared for both of our new arrivals giving them a check-up regularly and providing all their injections as and when required they have also carried out castration on them both with no issues whatsoever providing 2 aftercare appointments for both dogs to make sure everything is as it should be. I love the fact that the day before any appointment I receive a text to remind me of the following day's appointment just in case I have forgotten. The girls there are all fantastic from the reception staff right up to the veterinarians. Keep up the excellent work girls I cannot recommend you all enough.

Hillmans in Cannock have been my local vets for the past 4 years and I cannot rate them highly enough. The premesis is clean and well maintained, the staff are very caring and polite, the nurses and vets are amazing and Beth on reception is always warm and friendly. They have taken care of my cat beautifully over the past years and I would highly recommend.

The premesis is clean and well maintained, the staff are very caring and polite, the nurses and vets are amazing and Beth on reception is always warm and friendly. Absolutely fantastic vet , they go above and beyond to offer help and advice , we tried every where possible to get help for our cat and got no where , But Hillman vets stepped in and went beyond there capabilities to help , would highly recommend, brilliant vet and very kind professional staff Thank you !

Bought my dog here for a second opinion after being told he needed surgery, turns out no surgery needed and just pain relief to help him with arthritis. I 100% recommend hillmans vets. From the atmosphere as soon as you walk in with the friendly staff to the care of my dog. They explain everything thoroughly and not there just to take your money, lots of options they offer to help. I had to have my little dog put to sleep 9.5.25. Hillmans vets Cannock branch, well what can I say apart from exceptional!!! So, so professional, wasn’t rushed, personal and private procedure. Pain free for my Daisy who just closed her eyes in my arms. A little paw print, a fur clipping. Then a card in the post from all the staff. Please don’t ever change, you made the whole experience a beautiful occasion. I will never forget your pure humanity. Xxx

I've had my tortoise Timothy since 1976. Before Christmas he didn't seem himself, for the first time in years he went to see the vet, a lovely lady who diagnosed him as having a poor diet in about five minutes. He's now as right as ninepence again doing his winter job as a doorstop (see picture. He's not stupid, it's where the hot water pipes run), and trip hazard, and he's now waiting patiently for summer when he can resume his summer duties as a lawn ornament. Thanks for sorting him. 😊
