Was with the original vets in Balance Street and have had great care and advice. Things have moved on and there were a couple of iffy times when we considered moving as we saw different vets at every visit, some more helpful than others. Now, Glenthorne seems to have steadied. We have seen the same vet consistently, and she is great, both with our dogs and with us; practical, direct but empathetic. Things always seem better when a relationship builds up and it is so important to be able to trust your vet.

Hi I use Uttoxeter Branch They have a lovely lady vet jenny. I have always seen jenny, if on duty Good kind loves my dogs, have every faith in her. She is a credit to Glenthorne. Jenny has been there years. Plenty of experience. On the downside seem steep on pricing.

Glenthornes is a busy practice but when you walk in with your pet (in this case, Charlie) you are greeted by a lovely welcoming team. No matter how busy they are, they are extremely pleasant. Charlie saw a Vetenary Nurse and again she was extremely helpful and pleasant. She gave Charlie a treat too. I cannot fault this Practice in any way whatsoever and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Local Vets part of a multi practice enterprise. Always professional and give quality service to our animals and us. I called at 8.50am today with a problem for our cat and was seen at 9.30am. Great service. Parking available on site in the Uttoxeter branch its a busy full car park but you can normally find a spot most times. Important when taking poorly animals.

My cat had urinary tract problem for over a year. I’ve always been dismissed saying he was stressed. I asked for x-ray and I’ve been told that it was not necessary, keep giving me meds that clearly were not working. Since my cat was losing weight and he wasn’t himself and being in need of a clear diagnosis I changed vet, and they immediately discovered he was having MULTIPLE BLADDER STONE, old ones and the cat had to go through surgery - it was not possible to dissolve them since the stone were that old. No one at Glenthorne was bothered of doing an x-ray or a scan. They asked me more than 700 pounds though just to have my pet for 6 hours and doing an IVdrip (provided by the weekend emergency vet). This is absolute misconduct!!!!

Friendly staff, easily got an appointment, a bit on the pricey side, but there again most vets are now.
